I didn't even know what
sxsw was until the henry clay people went in 2008. i've wanted to go ever since. if this doesn't put a smile on your face we're probably not friends.
By far, The Henry Clay People were the most intoxicated band in Austin at 2 p.m. The usually amazing band (they sound exactly like Pavement) was made even more amazing by the fact they could barely stand up. At one point, the guitarist fell down while singing and was unable to get up, partially because his brother, the lead singer, was straddling him and knocking down another microphone in the process. After rolling around the stage for a while and tangling themselves various cords, the set eventually lurched to a halt. Thank you, Dewars! Good night! read more.
they have 10 shows starting tomorrow, if you're in the area check them out!
