black elephant is a new three person band from los angeles consisting of karin jancuk and
joshua gutierrez who recently left the band a.m. to start their new project. along with third member raul esparza, black elephant creates a real gritty, lo-fi, indie rock sound in the vein of modest mouse and the pixies. i like everything about it, the flyer on top is for a show they're playing at pehrspace on the 13th. it's a good line-up if you're not doing anything you should go check out their song '4 years' on myspace. it's a hit.
